[Product Description]:

TCP is a performance-related additive (also known as calcium phosphate) with the chemical formula Ca3(PO4)2, which is used as a phosphorus and calcium supplement in feed processing. TCP is considered a ‘bioelement’ in terms of its role in animal nutrition.

Tricalcium phosphate promotes increased livestock breeding and survival rates, as well as the development of bones and teeth. It helps to increase weight while strengthening resistance to disease. TCP can also extend the shelf life of feeds by protecting them from mildew and rot.

How should TCP be used?

Q: How much tricalcium phosphate should be added?

A: Generally speaking, it is best to add 3% to 6% of tricalcium phosphate (TCP) depending upon the amount and kind of feed used in the starting material.
